Thieme and AAO-HNSF Form Publishing Partnership

New York, NY, February 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Thieme Medical Publishers and the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) are pleased to announce that they have established a publishing partnership. Thieme and AAO-HNSF will produce books and supplemental materials to carry out the AAO-HNSF’s vision of “empowering otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons to deliver the best patient care.”

“Our goal is to deliver resources and educational activities that address gaps in care and improve the knowledge and competence of otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeons and otolaryngology health care providers. This is an important step in carrying out our strategic plan,” said Sonya Malekzadeh, MD, Coordinator of Education

The first publications, "Geriatric Otolaryngology" and "Otolaryngology Review: A Lifelong Learning Manual," are expected in early 2015. The books will be sold through Thieme’s global network and through the AAO-HNSF.
