GSF Mortgage Establishes Branch in Spring, Texas

Spring, TX, March 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- GSF Mortgage welcomes Stephen Exley, Branch Manager in The Woodlands, TX area. Exley brings with him a team of loan originators, which include Ellen Exley, Nancy Sanford and Michael Urias.

Stephen Exley is a graduate from Sam Houston State University with a degree in criminal justice. Out of college, he started his career as a loan officer. The mortgage industry runs in the blood of his family. His mother, brother and sister-in-law all have careers in the industry. Exley knew he would have his family’s support and it would be an easy transition. Exley has been in The Woodlands area since 1970 and has watched it expand to what it is today.

Ellen Exley joins GSF Mortgage with over 14 years of experience. She started her career as a processor, which familiarized her with the origination side of the business. In 2005, she decided to transition into a loan officer position. Exley has had a huge influence on Stephen, her son.

Sanford was referred to the team with 10 years of experience. She is very customer orientated and still believes in having face-to-face meetings with her customers to ensure comfortable, quality service.

Urias brings seven years of experience to the team. Originally from Texas, he moved to Michigan where he was a top mortgage originator. He moved back to his hometown to help grow his own market.

The Woodlands team is very family-orientated and their customers feel that when working with this group.

Laurie Bruce will also be joining the team as an in-house processer. She has experience in underwriting which will work well when processing. Bruce also pays special attention to customer’s needs and therefore her customer service skills really stand out.
