The Pasadena Playhouse Hosts the-green-heart for Month-Long Exhibition

Pasadena, CA, March 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- the-green-heart, a traveling, interactive art installation by artist and author Petra Eiko, will unveil at The Pasadena Playhouse on Friday, March 14 in conjunction with ArtNight Pasadena, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in The Playhouse’s Georgia T. McClay Friendship Center. ArtNight visitors will be able to contribute as Authors to an interactive, “community-written” play.

the-green-heart project will then continue as an interactive exhibition in the Georgia T. McClay Friendship Center until April 13, throughout the entire run of of Noël Coward’s "A Song at Twilight," directed by Art Manke and starring Bruce Davison, Sharon Lawrence and Roxanne Hart.

Patrons will be invited to examine aspects of life that mean most to them and to anonymously share their thoughts and hopes through poetry, drawings or simple expressions which will then become a part of Eiko's large-scale art piece. the-green-heart encourages inclusivity for anyone interested in discovering what is at the heart of our communities.

Performances begin Tuesday, March 18, 2014 and ends Sunday, April 13, 2014.

the-green-heart project is scheduled to travel throughout the United States and Europe in 2015.
