Monroe College to Expand Course Offerings at Queens Extension Site in Flushing for Spring Semester

Monroe College to Offer ESL Courses and an ATI TEAS Test Preparation Course at Queens Extension Site.

Bronx, NY, March 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Monroe College, a national leader in urban and international education, today announced that it will be expanding its course offerings to encompass a variety of interests at its Queens Extension site in Flushing for the Spring semester. In addition to its MBA courses, Monroe will be offering ESL courses for members of the Flushing community and an ATI TEAS test preparation course for those interested in the nursing field.

The ESL courses are designed to equip non-native speakers and business professionals with essential English reading, writing, and conversational skills. There is a three-week course available to accommodate the schedules of working professionals, as well as a 12-week course for those seeking more intensive instruction. Separately, the ATI TEAS test prep course is a 6-week program that will help prepare aspiring nurses for the standardized ATI TEAS test – the Test of Essential Academic Skills.

Monroe College’s King Graduate School in Flushing will also continue offering a selection of graduate courses within the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA), Master’s of Criminal Justice (MSCJ) and Master’s of Public Health (MPH) programs.

Monroe College's Queens Extension Site is located at 135-16 Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing. The building is situated one block away from the downtown area's extensive public transportation hub at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue, affording easy access to the #7 Flushing subway line, LIRR, and MTA bus routes. Complimentary parking is provided for students one block away on Prince Street.
