Xitron Announces Participation in IPEX 2014

Concept of prepress independence stressed in commercial, digital, flexo, and narrow web printing markets.

Ann Arbor, MI, March 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Xitron, the leading independent developer of RIP and workflow products for the printing industry, has announced its attendance at IPEX 2014 in London March 24th through the 29th. “Exhibiting at IPEX gives us a significant opportunity to reconnect with many of our European customers, dealers, and OEMs on a localised level,” said Karen Crews, President of Xitron. “On-line demonstrations and conferencing has value but working face-to-face is extremely important to us as partners.”

Exhibiting in North Hall N5-B390, Xitron will be presenting the concept of “Prepress Independence” through demonstration of its RIP, workflow, and output interface products. “Many printers are under the impression that their prepress hardware, software, and consumables perform best only when all three have the same logo,” said Crews. “In reality, being able to choose RIP and workflow software independent of output offers a better price/performance result.”

Crews points to recent milestones achieved by the company as a measure of proof. “Over 25,000 Navigator RIPs, workflow systems, Raster Blaster TIFF catchers, and device interfaces have been installed worldwide,” she says. “Those installations are a testament to the value we create through our development efforts.”

New product announcements for commercial, digital, flexographic, and narrow web printing applications are expected just prior to the exhibition with immediate shipping availability after their introductions at the show.
