)-- Dr. Shirley Jacobsen, grand dame of the world order of science, education, and culture, has signed a publishing contract with Tate Publishing for her new book entitled 10 Megahertz of Energy. Just in time for Easter, it is available online by Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and in single and bulk from the publisher.
The creation of this novel started several months ago when Shirley was awakened in the night by a word that kept coming to her mind. This word was megahertz. After tossing and turning and thinking about the word, she got up and did some research online and in the dictionary to discover it's meaning. She had gone to bed exhausted and felt lifeless, and was thinking and praying about the resurrection of Christ. She got so excited about the energy and power that raised Christ from the dead, that she believed that she could access this power from the Word of God, the Bible, simply by reading the words that Jesus spoke. One scripture stood out in her mind, "you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you". He was talking to his disciples in the book of John before his ascension to heaven, preparing them for his departure and what was to happen when he was no longer with them. He was preparing them to receive the power necessary to continue the work that he had been doing.
After doing the study about megahertz, and reading about the Power of the Resurrection in the Bible, Dr. Jacobsen started writing notes regarding her study. She felt revitalized after reading about the resurrection and decided that the power is accessible to anyone who will read the Word of God and apply it's meaning. When she finally got back into bed, she fell sound asleep, knowing that God heard her prayer. In the next few weeks, she completed the book and submitted it to Tate Publishing. What a surprise when she received her contract, Amazing.
10 Megahertz of Energy is available from tatepublishing.com and also on her face book page, newrelease.musicandbooks. Here she gives access to the links to her new book and to three of her songs listed on iTunes.
