Chicago, IL, October 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Bridge Advisors, Inc. (Chicago, IL) and Equities Global Communications (Santa Monica, CA), publishers of Equities Magazine and hosts of "Equities Corporate Conferences", announced a joint sponsorship program with The Options Institute, the education division of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, to produce a monthly webcast series for executives, high net-worth investors and their advisors. The webcasts will focus on investment strategies designed to enhance income and manage market volatility for portfolios and long-term concentrated positions. All registrants will qualify to receive a free subscription to Equities Magazine.

"Managing Concentrated Positions", the first in the series, will be webcast on October 9, 2007 at 12:00 CDT (Chicago). Senior instructor at The Options Institute and author Marty Kearney will present. To register for this 40-minute event, visit the CBOE web site at http://www.cboe.com/LearnCenter/webcast/NewWebcasts.aspx. The webcast will be archived and will be accessible for future viewing in the CBOE Webcast Archive on cboe.com.

This webcast will discuss a number of strategies available to advisors and investors for protecting long-term holdings held in their portfolios. As many corporate executives and high net-worth investors retain holdings due to tax implications or SEC requirements, certain option strategies may provide beneficial relief in reducing the effects of market volatility to the core position.

"Our research has found that only a limited number of wealth managers and financial advisors use options to protect the core holdings of their clients' portfolios from market volatility or to yield additional income," notes Mike Westmoreland, Bridge’s Senior Vice President – Investment Strategies. "Our goal with this webcast series is to help advisors and their clients understand that options, when used properly, can be an effective tool for improving portfolio performance."
