Pro Football Central was established in 2006 and has made its name as the trendsetter in breaking news and information, focusing on the good in the NFL and supporting great charities from the players. PFC has recently become part of Yahoo Sports.
For the “Beat the Press” hour segment, Michael will co-host with sports writer Turron Davenport. The first half hour will start off with their special guest, Jarvis Landry as he paves his way to the NFL Draft in May from Louisiana State University. Beat The Press will then lead into the “Baller or Buster” segment, with the “Baller’s” being former NFL linebacker Derrick Brooks calling in discussing his Brooks Debartolo High School program, and former football player turned NFL Analyst Deion Sanders who will be calling in to discuss his Prime Academy program. The “Bust” for the segment is former major league baseman Willie Randolf, due to stories from fan interactions.
Along with his book tour for his first self-published memoir Chasing My Rookie Year, Michael continues to establish a strong presence off the football field. To add a twist to traditional radio podcasts, Michael intends on filming the show and posting it on his social media and the PFC website.
