Mount Clemens, MI, March 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Gibraltar Trade Center in Mount Clemens, Michigan, will play host to the first annual D-Lux Entertainment Expo and MichiganTournaments.com State Championship martial arts tournament March 28-30, 2014.

The event takes place from 1pm-7pm Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday, and 10am-5pm Sunday.

The expo will kick off Friday March 28th, with a comic book, costuming, and vendor expo, with comic book, movie, professional wrestling, martial arts, and MMA entertainers in attendance for photos, autographs, and workshops.

Scheduled to appear are: Kevin Eastman (Co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Ernie Reyes Jr. (Martial artist, actor), MMA superstars Cung Le (Strikeforce, UFC, actor) and Frank Trigg (UFC, Pride FC, WFA, Elite XC, TNA), along with professional wrestlers Bill Goldberg (WWE/WCW), Kevin Nash (WCW/WWF/WWE/TNA), Jake "The Snake" Roberts (WWF/WCW/WWE/TNA), Al Snow (ECW/WWF/WWE/TNA), Rhino (ECW/WWE), Ernest “The Cat” Miller (WWE/WCW), Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson (WWE, TNA, Impact Wrestling), with Taimak (The Last Dragon), Master Ken (Enter the Dojo), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), and many more.

Friday will cap off with a Guinness World Record attempt for the “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.” Fans who arrive in their own costume will get a $5.00 discount on admission to the event. A t-shirt and red, orange, blue, or purple mask will count for the record, which will also be available at the venue, with an official attempt t-shirt available to attendees.

To celebrate the record attempt, attendees will be joined by Ninja Turtle co-creator Kevin Eastman, actor Ernie Reyes Jr, body actor Leif Tilden, voice actor Greg Berg, a full scale Turtle Van, and an anticipated 1,000 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans. The attempt will also feature a music montage by Detroit Hip Hip luminary DJ Champtown, and a performance of T-U-R-T-L-E Power from the end credits of the first Ninja Turtles movie by Partners in Kryme.

Immediately following the record attempt, the International Fight League will present the Motor City Mayhem MMA Championship starting at 8pm at the Imperial House in Clinton Township. 12 scheduled MMA bouts will feature local MMA fighters, and will be attended by MMA Legends from the Expo, who will also be available for autographs and photos.

Saturday March 29th the event will feature the MichiganTournaments.com State Championship Open Martial Arts Tournament, which will showcase the highest level of martial arts talent in the state of Michigan. Competitors from around the state of Michigan, Canada, and surrounding areas will perform point sparring, forms, and weapon demonstrations to determine the best of the best in Michigan. Custom awards, and cash prizes will be available for participants.

Professional wrestler and former World Heavyweight Champion, from both WWE and WCW, Bill Goldberg, will be in attendance at the Expo for autographs, along with a host of other professional wrestlers, martial artists, and action movie stars.

Professional comic book artist and writer Jerzy Drozd will host panels based on writing, drawing, the creation and design of comic books.

Martial artists and movie actors will be offering martial art, competition, and stunt acting workshops on Friday and Sunday 12:00-5:00pm of the event. Cung Le and Frank Trigg will hold seminars on MMA fighting. Professional wrestlers Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Ken Anderson, Rude Boy, and Ernest "The Cat' Miller invite you to enter the squared circle to experience the techniques that made them superstars. Leif Tilden, body actor for Donatello in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies will teach body acting, Jason Ybarra from The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers will instruct a stunt choreography seminar, Daniel Pesina, Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat video game franchise will host a dagger throwing seminar, along with other local and world renown martial arts masters.

Vendors offering comic books, action figures, pins, buttons, posters, animation cels, jewelry, clothing, costumes, MMA gear, martial arts supplies, and all manner pop culture memorabilia will be available all weekend at the Expo. Contests for best costume, both individual and group, will take place throughout the weekend, for cosplay enthusiasts, with awards and cash prizes for the best in attendance.
