)-- The Linux foundation has announced the speakers for the Cloudstack conference and Marc-Elian has been selected present at this prestigious event.
Apache CloudStack is open source software designed to deploy and manage large networks of virtual machines, as a highly available, highly scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing platform. The CloudStack Collaboration Conference is the place to learn more about CloudStack or join developers to discuss the past, present and future. The 4th CloudStack Collaboration Conference, this event will continue with the best ideas from the previous conferences and feature a varied set of presentations.
The conference will take place in Westin Denver Downtown Denver, Colorado, USA from April 9 to 11 2014 and Marc-Elian is presenting on the topic of Multi-Cloud Application Deployment Automation with open source SlipStream PaaS. He will focus on the benefits of automation and explore the uses of SlipStream, SixSq’s cloud deployment platform.

Marc-Elian is one of the three co-founders of SixSq. With over 20 years of experience in the software industry, he has worked with the Canadian and European Space Agencies, as well as CERN on distributed software systems, grid and cloud computing projects. His current focus is SlipStream SixSq's unique and open source multi-cloud PaaS solution. He is also heavily involved in the Helix Nebula project - The Science Cloud, where he holds the position of co-chair of the Technology and Architecture Group. Marc-Elian regularly talks to local, national and international events.
