Brennan Rock & Roll Academy Celebrates One Year of Achievement

Special Live Performances by Academy Students

Sioux Falls, SD, March 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Brennan Rock & Roll Academy is celebrating its one year anniversary with a concert and special performance on Wednesday, March 26. The party, to be held at the Academy facility, will feature live performances by academy students and special guests Hairball who is one of the largest and craziest rock and roll shows in the Midwest. The academy’s Wall of Fame commemorating significant contributions and donations leading to the academy’s success will also be unveiled.

Chuck Brennan, the founder of the academy and CEO of Dollar Loan Center said “I could not be happier with the success of the academy over the past year and cannot wait to see what this year brings. Even though we just opened the doors a year ago, the academy is providing over 700 free music lessons per month.”

Brennan opened the academy and made a 20 year commitment to the cause in effort to provide this game changing format of free music lessons to the children of the Boys and Girls Clubs in his hometown, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Since the academy doors have opened, it has had many special visits from rock legends such as KISS, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, George Lopez, and Slash to name a few. The most recent fundraising event for the academy, The Fundraiser, took place on December 5, 2013 in Las Vegas and raised more than one million dollars for the academy.

“It has been an incredible experience to witness so many people pull together in support of the children and the academy. From legendary rock stars to companies across the country and even individuals, they all helped contribute to the success thus far and I can’t thank them enough.”
