)-- Blackie Starks, former front man of Isaac James has formed a new band to carry on the intense vocals and songwriting he is known for. This amazing line up includes Adam Zemanek and Ryan Runyon from Red fall Rising and Bill Wald from Restraint. Maximus of Kansas has signed onto CBM Records and is currently booking shows on a calendar that is fast filling up. They will be heading to Atlanta, Ga very soon to record with renowned producer Mike Froedge of Open Sky Studios. Mike, you may remember from Black Label Society, Double Drive and more.
Says Kimberly James, owner of CBM Records, “I’ve had the chance to not only know Blackie as a friend and as well found we come from the same family line, but have also gotten to know him as a writer. Blackie can pump out more hits than anyone I think I have ever seen and he has a great drive for the music business on top of one of the most incredible voices I have heard in a while.
