Lisa S. Kove, Has Recently Been Recognized by America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals

America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals has selected Lisa S. Kove of San Diego, California as the Professional of the Year in Biotechnology for 2013.

Farmingdale, NY, April 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Lisa S. Kove was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is currently the Chairman of the Board at Exusmed, a company that reduces the need for waiting rooms, hard to get appointments and trips to hospitals. Ms. Kove’s area of expertise is in IT, research design and development, program management, leadership in the military, commercial and civil sectors. She has 35 years experience as a Special Projects Officer with the US Dept. of Defense. Ms. Kove’s extensive leadership, technical and analytical background as an innovator has contributed to successes in the area of artificial intelligence and related patent. This research and design background is being used to make a positive impact in the biotech community. The Exusmed Corp. is in the process of creating a philanthropic foundation and they are dedicated to helping society. Ms. Kove is an equality activist. Her work has included education of the public via web enabled presentations and films about diversity. She is a service related disabled veteran and has fought with others against DADT (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell), Defense of Marriage Act laws and support for the Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) along with open service for transgender service members. Ms. Kove completed her B.S. in Logistics and Management in just under a year by taking accelerated courses and College Level Equivalency Program (CLEP) at Park College in 1996. She is the first person in the U.S. to set a legal precedent for winning same-sex child support (first at the appellate level in the nation). Ms. Kove came out as a member of the LGBTQ community and also suffers from a rare lung disease called lymphangioleiomyomatosis which affects mainly women. This has become a motivating force in her life and industry to make a difference for sufferers worldwide, while increasing public awareness.
