Chicago, IL, April 12, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- VISION Studios, LLC, CEO Johnny Arreola is excited to announce their feature film, In Between Engagements, has been accepted into the 15th Annual On Location: Memphis International Film & Music Fest presented by MVP3 Entertainment Group, as the 2014 Official Selection. Executive Producer David L. Levine, chair of VISION Studios advisory board, a 20 year Memphian, submitted the film last October for consideration and is proud that In Between Engagements has been chosen as the opening night premiere film, Thursday April 24th, 2014 (7:30pm) at Malco Paradiso Theatre.
Emmy Award Winner & 4 Time Golden Globe Nominee, Armand Assante (HBO’s Gotti, American Gangster, The Mambo Kings) who plays “Uncle Alonzo” in the film, is slated to attend the festival.
“In Between Engagements” written & directed by Dominik Sedlar, produced by Johnny Arreola, is a relationship comedy (filmed in a Woody Allen esque style) about an ordinary, once-a-week gathering of friends that unexpectedly becomes an engagement party and all hell breaks loose. Four couples learn the hard way whether they have what it takes to make it for the long haul as insecurities, secrets, anxieties, lusts, fears, wants, needs, and desires are revealed. Years of tranquility are replaced by one wild, turbulent and insane night where anything goes and surprises abound to culminate in a wedding night to rival all wedding nights.
“The filmmaking team is comprised of an extremely talented group of Chicagoans who have worked in various areas of media and entertainment,” said Johnny Arreola, producer. “This film was conceived and produced within 60 days from its inception.”
Following the Memphis Premiere, In Between Engagements will host a Chicago Premiere in May and VISION Studios is in development on a self-theatrical limited release.
