Mars, PA, April 17, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Mars National Bank joined the First Front Door program through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. First Front Door helps first-time homebuyers realize the dream of homeownership through a special grant program. Mars National Bank works with housing counseling agencies, community-based organizations and others with a stake in promoting homeownership in the community. The program helps strong, worthy homebuyers secure financing for their first home.
“This program is squarely in line with our mission to serve our communities,” said Jim Dionise, Mars National Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. “First Front Door helps us secure financing for more first-time homebuyers.”
There are specific requirements that homebuyers must meet to qualify for a home mortgage and the First Front Door grant. The Bank believes this program is important for the western Pennsylvania communities it serves.
“I’m pleased our team has this new resource to help first time homebuyers,” said Shawn Proper, Mars National Bank Vice President, Mortgage and Consumer Lending. “I am confident ‘First Front Door’ will draw interest in the community and we will be reaching out to community leaders and development agencies to increase awareness of the program.”
Mars National Bank is one true community bank focused on combining the products and technology that its customers need while maintaining its focus on long-term customer relationships. For more information about First Front Door or any loan or banking need, visit www.MarsBank.com.
