First Smart Dog Toy Bin Successfully Funded on Kickstarter

The Tidy dog is a toy bin that automatically trains your dog to put their toys away. The Tidy Dog detects when your dog puts a toy away and rewards them with a small amount of kibble.

Cleveland, OH, April 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Tidy Dog has successfully completed its fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. Their campaign lasted just over 1 month with the goal of raising $20,000 by April 8th. The Tidy Dog was funded by the support by hundreds of backers on Kickstarter who will be receiving some of the first bins being produced. The Tidy Dog company expects to ship the first Tidy Dog bins this fall and is currently working to ramp up manufacturing.

"My dog gets very excited now when it's time to clean up. I turn on the bin and she runs around picking up all of her toys," said Chris Lorkowski, one of the inventors of the device. “We are so grateful for the enormous support our backers have given us and are very excited to be launching The Tidy Dog,” said Lorkowski.

The Tidy Dog uses weight sensors to detect toys placed in the bin. It has smart software which can detect whether your dog is just nosing around in the bin or if they have actually put a toy away. It also prevents your dog from just lifting a toy out of the bin and immediately dropping it back in to get a treat. If you missed their Kickstarter campaign you can still pre-order The Tidy Dog at www.TheTidyDog.com.
