Run in the Malta Marathon/Half Marathon to Give Kids a Break

The Family Holiday Association has places available in the 2008 Malta Marathon/Half Marathon. Runners can join the team in Malta for £199, which includes flights, half board accommodation, and race entry.

Sliema, Malta, October 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Family Holiday Association (FHA) is recruiting 30 runners to participate in the 2008 Malta Marathon/Half Marathon (24 February 2008) and raise funds to help give underprivileged children the chance to create some happy childhood memories on a family holiday.

Thanks to support from the Malta Tourism Authority, FHA runners can pick up a package including return flights from London, 3 nights’ 4* half-board accommodation and race entry for £199.

The races begin in Mdina, an ancient market town at Malta’s highest point, and wind down through the hills to Sliema on Malta’s coastline, providing a great opportunity to achieve a personal best time.

Runners are asked to raise £500 for the half marathon and £1,000 for the full marathon, and once certain fundraising levels have been reached, may have their travel costs refunded.
