Mothers Who Make A Difference 2014 Ninth Annual Awards

New York, NY, April 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- May 11th is Mother’s Day …a time to celebrate mothers around the world. They love, they nurture, carry out selfless acts and still find time to give to others.

With child abuse and neglect on the rise, this is an especially important time to recognize loving moms in our country.

Love Our Children USA™ takes pride in announcing the recipient of the Ninth Annual Mothers Who Make A Difference Awards, recognizing celebrity mothers for balancing motherhood, work and causes.

This year’s winner is celebrity mom Kristen Bell who is a mom, actress and advocate against paparazzi photographing celebrity children and boycotting the magazines who purchase these photos.

Ross Ellis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Love Our Children USA said “Celebrity children do not ask to be in the public eye and it is wrong of any photographer, magazine or news outlet to exploit them. We are thrilled to honor Kristen Bell who not only protects her child from exploitation, but does so for all the children of celebrities.”

Kristen is an American actress and singer. In 2001, she made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. After moving to Los Angeles, Bell landed various television guest appearances and small film parts before appearing in a lead role in the David Mamet film Spartan. She later gained fame and critical praise as the title character on the television series Veronica Mars from September 2004 to May 2007. She reprised the eponymous role in the 2014 film continuation of the series. Since 2012, Bell has starred as Jeannie van der Hooven in the Showtime series House of Lies.
Bell also voices Lucy Stillman in the Assassin's Creed video game series and Princess Anna in the 2013 Disney animated film Frozen.

Bell has been the recipient of a Satellite Award and a Saturn Award, and has been previously nominated several times for Television Critics Association Awards and Teen Choice Awards, amongst other accolades.

She is involved with the charity organization Invisible Children, Inc. and has also done a public service announcement for Do Something's Healthy Living Campaign.

Kristen Bell will receive crystal heart award designed specifically for Love Our Children USA by the illustrious crystal designers FineAwards.com. We wish her a Happy Mothers’ Day and congratulate her and all mothers who make a difference for children.
