About The Samaritan Inn
Founded in 1984, The Samaritan Inn is a comprehensive homeless program that helps willing people gain dignity and independence. There are currently 161 residents living at The Samaritan Inn, of which 62 are children. Last year, more than 2,600 people who qualified for the program were referred to other services because there was no room at the Inn. The Inn is currently undergoing a $7.6 million dollar Capital Campaign to build a 100-bedroom family shelter on 15 acres of land, just 500 yards from the current shelter. To date, more than $3.3 million has been raised. For more information on The Samaritan Inn, please visit www.thesamaritaninn.org.
