Gallery Night an Evening of Free Admission to Area Galleries

Erie, PA, October 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Exhibition opening receptions at the Erie Art Museum, Glass Growers Gallery, Urraro Gallery, Kada Gallery, Geary’s Studio 7 Gallery, Allen Stoneware Gallery, Kuhn’s Framing & Gift Gallery, Ralph Miller Jewelers & Gallery and ARTworks on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 from 7-10 p.m.

EMTA will provide free Bayliner trolley transportation, courtesy of the galleries, from 7-10:30 p.m. Service will be provided every 30-minutes and begins at Artworks, 14th & State Street.

“The galleries are working together to coordinate our exhibition openings and promoting them as an evening of art. Each gallery will display works in various media, as well as offer interaction with gallery staff and sometimes, the artists themselves,” said John Vanco, director of the Erie Art Museum.

Galleries will also offer incentives for patrons visiting as many galleries as they can in the evening.

Gallery Night is organized by the Erie Art Museum.
