Broomfield, CO, May 01, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- And you can be a part of it.
It’s been a long time coming but the wait is over! Founder and CEO of Shelf Esteem, LLC, Phillip McSween hailing from Durham, North Carolina, is launching his Science Fiction Novel Legacy: G.L.O.W.
This Star Wars meets The Matrix story is about two brothers who become superheroes before they’re old enough to finish school. G.L.O.W. is the first book in the Legacy series with seven more to follow.
A seven-year-old protecting the planet? Klarvid Organon finds himself in just that position. If chosen to become a Guardian, he will defend the planet from any impending danger using a namoom: a powerful weapon that enhances the user’s abilities to unimaginable heights. For Klarvid it would be a dream, but, before his dream can become a reality, he must first pass the Guardian Testing—a competition filled with peril that will push him to the brink of death.
Readers of these books have expressed great enthusiasm for the project and are looking forward to it finally being in print.
The purpose of this book is to promote dreams and the idea of believing in something “better.” Phillip wants to show people, especially young people that you don’t have to wait until you get old to do something great in the world, rather you can start living your legacy today!
Ideally, Shelf Esteem would like to get to 100,000 copies sold before releasing the second novel in the Legacy series: Spark. However, it starts with now. It starts with you. Please support author Phillip McSween and Shelf Esteem via Kickstarter whether it’s monetarily or merely spreading the word. The Kickstarter campaign will help him achieve his dream of getting his book off the ground.
The Kickstarter project is available until May 25th at 10:21PM.
