)-- Oregon native Megan Wade is lighting up the phones at radio stations nationally as her debut single, "Stay With Me" is introducing her to the Country world! AOK Promotion and Production's Country division is proudly representing Wade to radio. Owner Adam Knight and wife Angela are extremely excited about this young new talent.
Megan Wade wrote her first song when she was eight years old and couldn’t stop writing songs from that day forward. After years of begging her parents for a guitar, she finally got her first guitar for Christmas when she was 11. She taught herself how to play guitar and begin adding music to the songs she was writing.
She began performing in front of people her freshman year of high school and went on to win the Sherwood High School talent show her junior and senior year. In 2010 she was voted by her senior class “most likely to get a record deal”. In 2011 she got to travel to Nashville, Tennessee and record her first official four song EP titled "Heads or Tails". The first single off of the EP "Boy Next Door" has been receiving radio play on major Oregon country radio stations. Megan returned to Nashville in 2013 to record a brand new eight song album, including four new originals and a duet with Nashville recording artist and producer Kenny Lee. Her song “Stay with Me” has been receiving major radio play on local, national, and global stations across the world. Megan has been playing several shows around the Portland metro area including Race for a Cure, and the Soulful Giving Benefit for Randall Children’s Hospital, as well as playing songs for the kids at Shriners Children’s Hospital. She regularly travels to Nashville and hopes to eventually move there and record a full length album.
