Gainesville, FL, May 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- US Building Consultants, an engineering and architectural firm, has hired Scott Stephen as its newest forensic investigator and principal. Stephen has numerous years of experience in building envelope field analysis and diagnostic testing, roof design and installation consulting, ASTM / AAMA field testing and analysis for new and existing construction and more.

Stephen is a building envelope analyst and moisture intrusion expert. He has worked as a project manager and has experience in all aspects of business including administration, sales, project management, forensics, investigations, scope of work development, consulting services, training and oversight of inspectors. He has provided building envelope consulting, testing, and analysis services for residential, commercial, governmental and high rise structures.

As USBCI’s newest principal, Stephen has spearheaded a new West Florida office based in Pensacola. The new office will service the Florida Panhandle, over to Tallahassee and north as far as southern Alabama. Close to the coastline and strategically located to access most of North and West Florida, this new office will be able to provide rapid response services to clients dealing with water intrusion- and construction-related issues in those areas.
