Cranston, RI, May 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Electro Standards Laboratories announces Model 5536 4-State OFFLINE/TS/SVCN/DRAG RJ45 Cat5e Switch to support secure conference room communication applications. This unit allows the capability to access three separate devices connected to ports labeled TS, SVCN and DRAG via a device connected to the COMMON port or isolating all ports in the OFFLINE position.

The Model 5536 can only be switched via a front panel Keylock Actuator and the switch position will follow the Keylock Actuator position at all times. Front panel LED’s display the position status of “OFFLINE”, “TS”, “SVCN”, or “DRAG” when power is connected. The unit can also be customized to display any application requirement. For added security, the key can only be removed from actuator in the OFFLINE position.

All (8) pins of the RJ45 interface are switched and the switch ports are transparent to all data. This unit also features a Custom Contact Closure Monitor port that provides dry contact logic to obtain switch position.

A wide range CE and UL listed table mount power module (Cat. No. 521895) 100VAC/240VAC, 50Hz/60Hz is included with the unit and is only required to power the LED’s. No power is required to operate the switch.
