Omaha, NE, May 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Cabaret singer and concert vocalist, Mary Carrick, announces the release of her debut album, “Let’s Fly,” a collection of reimagined classic and contemporary songs, ranging from great American standards, jazz, musical theater, country, folk, and more. It's the first solo recording for Carrick, a singer and actress who performs across the Midwest. The album has been released as of Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

"Let's Fly" combines tight arrangements for full combo, such as “Dance Me to the End of Love” (Leonard Cohen) and a samba infused “So In Love" (Cole Porter); unexpected twists such as an ethereal “Both Sides Now” (Joni Mitchell); and simplicity, including an intimate “Flight” (Craig Carnelia) and lyrical “Meadowlark” (Stephen Schwartz), among others.
