Sensei Chris Feldt Receives Shodan in Shuri Te Bujutsu Kai

Shihan Troy Price, Director of the Shuri Te Bujutsu Kai, a martial arts combatives system, awarded Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor of Samurai Karate Studio, located in Richland Northeast Columbia, South Carolina, with the rank of Shodan.

Columbia, SC, May 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor for Samurai Karate Studio, located in Richland Northeast Columbia, South Carolina, was recently promoted to the rank of Shodan in the Shuri Te Bujutsu Kai combatives system. His certificate was awarded by his teacher, Shihan Troy Price, who is the director of the Shuri Te Bujutsu Kai.

"I have been training in many disciplines with Shihan Price for the past 6 years," commented Feldt, "outside of karate, my bujutsu training has been my primary focus and I am just thrilled to be honored with my 1st dan!"

Sensei Feldt is a 3rd degree black belt in karate, along with his first degree in Bujutsu. In addition to the karate and combatives, Sensei Feldt is training in Kyusho, Qigong and the healing arts.

Samurai Karate Studio teaches karate to children and adults, beginning at age 4 and up. The karate curriculum includes self defense as well as character and leadership training.
