Praise for Anchored:

“You'll come away with a renewed sense of what it means to be anchored to Christ." - Tyler Greene, Associate Pastor of Worship Ministries, LifePoint Church, Ozark, Missouri

"Anchored tells the beautiful tale of God's undeniable grace and unconditional love drawing us from fear to faith.” - Seth Shelton, Lead Pastor, The Way Faith Community, Springfield, Missouri

“This book is more than her story. It is His Story—God's Story—woven all throughout the pages.” -Heather Gilion, Co-author, Dancing on My Ashes: learning to love the One who gives and takes away

“Refreshingly honest! Teresa gets to the heart of where a lot of people are with routines and chasing after everything looking to fill the void.” - Sandy, Amazon Reviewer

About the book: For thirteen years, Teresa spent her Sundays in church pews. She joined small group after small group and moved from church to church, but it didn’t bring her peace. She was pursuing social acceptance and friendship rather than pursuing God. Have you ever felt like you were trying to find spiritual fulfillment in people rather than Christ? Or maybe you have found yourself thanking God for His provision one day and forgetting it the next. In her book, "Anchored: Pressing On by Pressing Into the Savior," author Teresa Blondo shares her story of fitting in, and facing hardships, and how God used these times in her life to draw her to real discipleship. You will find comfort in her honesty about her “patterns of forgetfulness” and her struggles with finding satisfaction in Jesus. Allow her to encourage you to take hold and press into the Savior.

Target audience: Anchored will appeal to new Christians, “marginal” Christians, and anyone who is struggling with finding satisfaction in Jesus, having difficulty in connecting in Christian community, or finding peace and joy in Christ while life storms around them. Anchored is for anyone who needs encouragement and a practical picture of what it looks like to really, for the first time, dive in and press into Christ.

“On February 5, 2012, I wrote just one line in my journal: I feel like I have already lost the awe and wonder of the cross, just one month after Christ saved me. My faith and my trust were weak. God is faithful, and His faithfulness is not dependent on the strength of my own faith. When my faith is at its weakest, it is enough. When my faith is as strong as Paul's, it is enough. Prone to wander and quick to forget, my own faith and faithfulness can all too easily do a one-hundred-eighty-degree turn into faithlessness. God has grace for that! He is enough!”
