New line of luxury pillows available immediately. Handmade in USA by artisans.

Honoka'a, HI, October 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Elegant, Handmade Western Pillows: Impressive New Line Available Immediately to Retailers.

Lynn Cleare Goldman, the artist behind Ze + Me pillows, sews a small childhood dream and love of horses into each stitch of the western line of her luxurious pillows. Living in the paniolo or cowboy country of Hawaii, the atmosphere has influenced Goldman’s work, primarily due to the area’s rich culture. These one-of-a kind, refined western and equine pillows are more than a home accent – they’re an investment in talent and a display of opulence for customers who are willing to pay extra for the perfect finishing touch.

Available for wholesale only, Ze + Me pillows are crafted of Novasuede® and Ultrasuede®, the finest faux suedes on the market and some of the most luxurious materials available. Novasuede® drapes unlike any other suede fabric, providing a luscious and supple softness. A portion of each pillow’s sale will be donated to the Hawaii Island Humane Society.

Prospective buyers have been known to swoon over Goldman’s craftsmanship and sensational designs. The fine quality fabrics accent the design, characterize Ze + Me pillows as fresh and innovative. Goldman’s original design and distinguishing accessories make these 18” pillows the centerpiece of any living area. From beginning to end the entire pillow is handmade.

Goldman hand paints and embroiders details on some of the pillows, changing accessories to create discriminating originals. “I try to find unusual materials to accent my pillows so that each one is unique,” says Goldman. Conchos and buckles used on a number of the pillow designs are top-of-the-line, exquisite, and highly detailed in classic motifs. Goldman remembers her love of horses beginning in childhood. “I always loved horses, yet couldn’t have one until I was grown.”

As an adult, she became a breeder of rare Argentine Falabella miniature horses and worked with the Falabella family coordinating imports and exports of the exclusive horses. As a breeder and an artist, she says “I have always believed if you are going to do something, you need to do it right.” Whether seeking out the finest of horses or extravagant fabric and embellishments.

Her can-do attitude moved her into various forms of art over the years including stained glass, slumped glass and jewelry. She taught art for more than 27 years, often pushing her students to use innovative materials in new ways. Her work with Ze + Me pillows builds on skills she honed while designing pillows in New York City over 30 years ago. Ze + Me pillows combines the maturity of her artistic experience with the innocent dreams of a young girl.

Future work moves outside the western look for Goldman’s amazing usage of Asian silks. These pieces are still in development, yet continue to push the design envelope by using avant-garde accessories in an impressive display of Asian traditional art forms. A sneak peek reveals accessories like antique carved jade, handmade silver leaves, and hand-cast, gold plated African beads.
