2005 marked Absolutely Public Relations’ sixth year in business in the Denver area. This news release is a yearend review of placement accomplishments for the Colorado-based media relations consultancy.

Denver, CO, January 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Colorado public relations consultant, Maggie Chamberlin Holben, APR, owner of Metro Denver’s Absolutely Public Relations, announces that her 6-year-old PR firm has achieved numerous national, trade and local editorial placements in 2005. Results are recapped in this “yearend review” news release.

First quarter a national placement was achieved in the Washington Post for Denver-based Baxa Corporation (http://www.baxa.com) on the Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs Issue, referencing both Baxa and the related product they distributed to help the problem (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24458-2005Feb14.html?referrer=emailarticle). In addition to numerous key trade media placements, Baxa Corp. also enjoyed a number of strategic local media placements through the assistance of Absolutely PR in 2005, including: Colorado Company Magazine, ColoradoBiz Magazine, 9 News “Where in the Town is Gregg Moss,” the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Business Journal
(http://www.bizjournals.com/search/?t=denver&op=query&s=&q=Baxa+&am=denver&am=&r=20).

Baxa Corporation’s media relations campaign, managed by Absolutely PR, has just exceeded 12 million in circulation reach and more than $300,000 in dollar value based on ad value equivalency metrics. Absolutely PR has just signed its fourth media relations contract with Baxa Corporation for consulting services in 2006.

Further in 2005, Maggie Holben was interviewed and quoted as a PR expert by the Denver Post, Boulder Daily Camera (twice) and the Colorado Daily (http://expert411.com/_wsn/page2.html). Holben was also asked to join the board of Colorado Bioscience Association (CBSA – http://www.cobioscience.com) in April and was certified as an Industry Analyst Relations Practitioner in October. Holben chairs the CBSA’s Communications Committee and has been assisting in launching a media relations effort — focused on national placements — for the association.

Absolutely PR continued representing a Fortune 500 company for Colorado and Denver editorial localization in 2005, achieving key placements in both the Colorado Springs Business Journal and Denver Business Journal. On the horizon in 2006 is a relationship with the national America Responds with Love (ARWL – http://www.RespondWithLove.org) organization. ARWL’s RespondWithLove.org website is revolutionizing how and where donors donate to those in need and is providing both targetability and accountability to the process that hasn’t been available before. Be watching and listening for additional details as 2006 unfolds.
