TSU and LILLE 1 University Signed an Agreement of Joint Master's Program in the Field of the Earth Sciences

Today Tomsk State University Rector Eduard Galazhinsky and Taniel Danielian professor at LILLE 1 University signed an agreement of dual degree master's program.

Tomsk, Russia, June 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- TSU Faculty of Geology and Geography students got the opportunity to study in France and getting a master's degree in the direction "Earth Science: Geology, the Environment, and the Universe!" LILLE 1 University - Science and Technology students in their turn, gain the opportunity to learn in TSU. On the graduation, they will certify a TSU state diploma of the Russian Federation with the master's degree in the direction "Geology" with the application.

Joint educational program “Earth Science” candidates must have a bachelor or specialist degree in one of the natural sciences areas, have the B2-C1 level of English language and have a good knowledge in the field of geology, paleontology and stratigraphy.

For the Russian state document receiving students defend a master's degree in TSU (TSU students in Russian, students of Lille 1 in English), which will be written and completed according to the requirements for graduation work adopted in TSU.

To obtain a master's degree in Lille 1 students send a graduate work in English, written and completed in accordance with the requirements adopted in Lille 1 to the examination committee and if they are located in Russia, they will protect it by the video conference, if they are in France they will do it personally, in both cases, the protection provides in English.
