Columbus, OH, June 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, June 13, Feed The Children will deliver a semi tractor-trailer full of food and essentials to help 400 Columbus area families. The food and essentials will be distributed to pre-identified families at 10:30 a.m. at The Church at Mill Run (3500 Mill Run Drive) in Hilliard.

Teleperformance is a longtime supporter of Feed The Children and this event is sponsored by Teleperformance employees. Team members from the Columbus Contact Center will be on hand to help distribute the boxes and help answer any questions anyone may have about the company.

More than one in five children living in Franklin County (24.6% percent) are considered impoverished. In fact, the number of children living in poverty in Franklin County alone (275,900) could fill the Nationwide Arena more than 3 times.

Feed The Children partner agency the Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio have pre-identified families receiving the boxes. Each family will receive a 25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of personal care items. The boxes are designed to help a family of four for up to one week.

"We hope people see the great work that Teleperformance does year round to help put more trucks on the road and provide assistance for fellow Americans.”
