SACAC Offers a PG Diploma Course in Audio Engineering and Music Production

New Delhi, India, June 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi offers a post graduate diploma course in Audio Engineering and Music Production. The admission for this course is now open and the classes are scheduled to commence in August this year.

The Audio Engineering & Music Production course at SACAC is designed to provide students with the right mix of theory, practical and project exposure. The course provides its students with: hands on experience in a professional studio geared for audio recording and music production, music appreciation workshops, interaction with producers from the industry, participation in industry seminars; exposure to live projects to name a few. The one year PG Diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production starts with an Introduction to Sound and covers Basic Electronics, Concepts of Acoustics and Studio Design, Music Theory and Appreciation, Digital Audio Concepts, DAW, DigiDesign Pro Tools & Logic Pro, Microphones and Recording Technique, Dynamic Signal Processing, Audio/Music Mixing, MIDI Technology, Music Production, Sound Design for Video and Live Sound Reinforcement. The course is designed keeping in mind that the students will be exposed to the requisite skills needed for the industry and will also be pushed to do independent research and projects that will ultimately set them on the path of bettering their skills.

The post graduate diploma course in Audio Engineering & Music Production is broken into three semesters followed by an internship; it is a perfect blend of theory and practical and provides extensive hands-on experience through the duration of the course. The well-equipped, on-campus studio facility gives each student the ideal on-the-floor edge needed to make a mark in this highly specialized profession. Projects done during the course also serve as a portfolio for the students when they venture into the industry. Admission to the programme is subject to an entrance examination followed by a one on one interview and a panel interview.
