Coral Springs, FL, June 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Simplesa LLC, a company that develops nutritional formulations for patients following complex regimens, has expanded its online retail partnerships to help people with ALS (PALS) more conveniently order their products. Most notably Simplesa is breaking into the international market with their new European online distributor Detox People Ltd. Simplesa is the recommended brand of the Deanna Protocol – a nutritional supplementation protocol based on Dr. Vincent Tedone’s research on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease), which uses dietary supplements to support nutritional needs of patients with ALS.

Simplesa’s initial challenge of partnering with large online supplement retailers to carry its products was partially due to these retailers’ use of search volume to determine a product’s demand. Because Simplesa products primarily focus on niche markets, including ALS, the search volume online retailers are accustomed to seeing is simply not there. However, online retailers are beginning to discover the benefits of carrying such a unique set of products targeted to these niche segments.

Steve Margolis, Co-Founder of Simplesa explains “Because we offer products that focus on niche markets, we have to get past the standard set of criteria retailers use in assessing the potential value of products and help them understand that our products are different. They are sold in monthly supply packages containing five to seven products at a time. Obviously, there is less demand for our products than a mass market product, such as fish oil or Vitamin C, but the average order is much higher in terms of dollar value and the demand within this niche market is extremely high. In the case of ALS we are the only company catering to this market. If a retailer does not carry our products, this customer base will go elsewhere, and retailers will lose out on a noticeable revenue source that will only continue to grow.”

This message is resonating with online distributors. Simplesa has added new retailers in the past few months and is in discussions with several more. Continuing to reach new partnerships with online vitamin retailers is a priority, but Simplesa is also looking to team up with Naturopathic Physicians who are dealing with ALS patients in their practices.

Margolis continues, “Many ALS patients who follow the Deanna Protocol supplementation have to make an effort to research and discover the protocol on their own. Their primary care doctor is usually not aware of the program, so we are targeting alternative practitioners that PALS turn to when their primary care doctor offers them little daily support towards fighting this horrible disease.”
