)-- Grants Management Systems, Inc. (GMS, Inc.) provider of nonprofit accounting and financial management/reporting and revolving loan servicing software announces the appointment of Deann Hasbrouck to the company’s board of directors.
Donald Cassady, President and CEO, said, “I am excited that Deann has become the newest member of our board. It was no surprise that the staff voted Deann in. With over 30-years’ experience in nonprofit accounting and finance, she is one of our most tenured staff members and has a lot of knowledge.”
Before joining the company, Hasbrouck was the Fiscal Officer at Headwaters Regional Development Commission in Bemidji, MN where she used the GMS Nonprofit Accounting and Financial Management/Reporting System for over 4-years.
“I am thrilled to be joining the board. Since beginning with GMS, I have seen the company expand from a few employees to the experienced, diverse staff we have today. I look forward to continuing to add value through assisting in the direction of making our software even more robust and advanced. As a former fiscal officer, I know that nonprofit accounting professionals seek software that is user-friendly and does most of the work, which our software does,” said Hasbrouck.
In addition to being a board member, Hasbrouck serves as an Implementation & Training Manager. She has been with GMS, Inc. for over 26-years and succeeded in training hundreds of nonprofit accounting professionals on how to use the GMS system.
