New Philly-Area Publishing Company is Born from the Expertise and Ingenuity of One Savvy Writer/Educator/Entrepreneur

Tracey Michae'l Lewis-Giggetts embarked on another awesome journey as she used her fourteen years of experience and expertise to launch her own independent e-publishing company, NewSeason Books. NewSeason is currently publishing nonfiction e-books in three major categories: self-help (relationships, family, business/leadership), ministry resources, and memoir/biography.

Philadelphia, PA, July 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The publishing industry is vastly different from when Tracey Michae'l Lewis made a conscious decision to self-publish her books back in 2002. "I was an MBA student at the time and I saw both the opportunity to be creatively free but also, if I was able to significantly invest in marketing my work, the opportunity to make substantially more from the selling of my work than the royalties offered by majors." Since then, this writer/educator/entrepreneur has published seven books—both independently and through traditional book deals—and served as a Managing Editor at a Philadelphia-area small press, responsible for the publishing of 12-14 titles a year and leading the digital conversion initiative of the company.

"E-books and social media have made the reader much more accessible to the writer. However, the best writers have an extremely difficult time getting their voice heard amidst the noise of a very saturated, everybody-has-a-book business. That's where NewSeason Books can help," says Lewis-Giggetts.

NewSeason is currently publishing nonfiction e-books in three major categories: self-help (relationships, family, business/leadership), ministry resources, and memoir/biography. "We are committed to providing quality content that assists people in growing personally and spiritually," Lewis-Giggetts continues. "We call it 'transformational literature' because that's exactly what we hope to do: transform lives."
