Phase 2 Opens Medical Manufacturing Plant in Mexico

Rochester, NH, July 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing (http://www.phase2medical.com) is pleased to announce that they have opened a brand new 30,000 sq. ft. medical device contract manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The new facility will help Phase 2 meet the needs of its increasing customer base. The new medical manufacturing and medical packaging plant features a 3,000 sq. ft. ISO Class 8 cleanroom which will be used to assemble and package single-use medical devices. Phase 2 has a highly experienced operations, quality and supply chain team what will help customers transfer production to the near shore plant.

Medical injection molding

In other news, Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing has added a new ISO Class 8 cleanroom that will be dedicated to medical injection molding. This new medical injection molding cleanroom, which is 2,500 sq. ft, is separate from Phase 2’s other clean room. It will be used to make completed medical device development components for products in Phase 2 assembly and production lines.
