Tucker Hockey Launches 2014 Summer Hockey Programs

Tucker Hockey's 2014 Summer Hockey Programs will run from August 11th through to September 5th. With limited spots available, the hockey programs are designed to deliver results for players, and will take place at Henry Viney Arena and Max Bell Arena, Calgary.

Calgary, Canada, July 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Tucker Hockey's 2014 Summer Hockey Programs will run from August 11th through to September 5th. With limited spots available, the hockey programs are designed to deliver results for players, and will take place at Henry Viney Arena and Max Bell Arena, Calgary.

Tucker Hockey is offering a range of programs for players to choose from including, Conditioning Camps, Shooting Clinics, Super Power Skating and Elite Power Skating.

Rex Tucker, President of Tucker Hockey spoke of his enthusiasm about the 2014 summer programs; "Our Summer Programs are instructed by a team of experts who are passionate about each hockey player's development; as a result, our techniques will help you to play at your best and even surpass your best on the ice."

The Shooting Clinic is open to players aged 10-14+, participants will be given experienced, quality and professional instruction to improve their shooting skills. Peewee and Bantam players can register for the introduction to the 'Safety First' Checking Program. The purpose of this program is to introduce players to proper techniques and tactics of how to give as well as how to receive a body check.

With three programs already sold out and limited space available on the remaining seven, the Super Power Skating program focuses on the technical skills of skating, puck control, passing, and shooting plus scrimmage. This program is open to a range of age groups from 7 to 12+.

The Elite Power Skating program is for players who are looking to take their skating to the next level. This program is designed to improve the player's quickness and speed with and without the puck.

Peewee, Bantam and Midget players who want to prepare for September evaluations and the upcoming season can register for Conditioning Camps. These camps cover a broad range of skating, puck control, passing and shooting drills with a strong conditioning component.
