Unschooling Paradise Encourages Summer Trips as Part of Unschooling Curriculum

Savannah, GA, August 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Unschooling Paradise is an online resource centre for parents that want information and inspiration for their own homeschooling venture whether they have been unschooling for years or are just starting out. With the regular school year quickly approaching it is a great time to consider taking a less structured and traditional route and trying an unschooling curriculum.

The founder of unschooling paradise, Chrissie has been unschooling her two girls for 4 year and loves it! “At first I didn't think I would be able to do it, but it is so easy and relaxed compared to normal school. We don't take test, do workbook sheets (unless we want), homework, or book reports. We are now traveling across the USA in a 5th wheel.”

While it is true that many parents choose to educate their children at home so they have control over what their kids are learning, Unschooling Paradise takes this concept to the next level by providing kids with the opportunity to choose their own subject material. This gives kids independence and allows them to study topics in-depth. When paired with a cross country summer trip this allows for a fun and exciting summer while learning both academic and practical subjects that develop children into well adjusted and well rounded adults.

Unschooling Paradise helps kids to absorb material in interesting and exciting ways such as origami crafts to learn math, a trip to France to study history and science experiments such as using beet juice as an invisible ink. While students should be exposed to a variety of topics, having the freedom to explore interests outside of it being “just a hobby” helps children find their niche specialty more quickly.

Chrissie and her family document unschooling curriculum at Unschooling paradise and encourage visitors to read the unschooling blog for the tips, tricks and inspiration that is necessary to successfully home school.
