The successful non-fiction book "The law oft the streets – He who hits first, cannot be beaten" by Alexander Franke now published as English edition.

Göttingen, Germany, August 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Earlier this year Alexander Franke’s non-fiction book "The law oft the streets – He who hits first, cannot be beaten" was published as German first edition by the debux Verlag. Now the well-sold book appears in the English translation. It is available at debux Verlag and online with the ISBN: 987-3-9816435-5-8.

The author criticizes therein the ineffectiveness of the common self-defence or martial arts for real street fights. In contrast, he imparts a self-developed way of defending oneself on the streets. He focuses his deliberations especially on the importance of mental strength and controlling emotions to overcome an attack or even win it. Furthermore, Franke convinces with his realistic report created by interviews given by street fighters. He describes and analyses them in detail, so that the reader may understand the motivations of the offenders. Thereby he is able to lessen the fear of public violence. In conclusion, the author presents some useful techniques with the aid of pictures, which are easy to learn (with a partner) and – most important - applicable in real fights.

Alexander Franke is not only a successful author, but also a skilful teacher in self-defence, martial arts and combat sports. Already in younger years confronted with violence, Franke learned many different combat sports and martial arts. Because of his long-time activity as a doorman he was able to practise the techniques and to find a way of realistic transfer. More often, he took part in tutorials as far as he established his own school of martial arts. Soon he realises the need of an additional mental/ psychological training for himself as well as his pupils. With this book Alexander Franke tries to teach people of all ages, but first of all younger people, both techniques and mental control to prepare them in the best possible way for real street fights.
