YOK Alum Tove Lo Launches Her U.S. Tour and Plays the Stage at Webster Hall

Tove Lo to release highly anticipated debut album “Queen of the Clouds” on September 30th (Island Records); Announces North American tour dates for September and October; Premieres video for new single “Not on Drugs”

New York, NY, August 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Island Records artist Tove Lo announced the title, track-listing and worldwide release date of her highly anticipated debut album “Queen of the Clouds.”

This exciting new full-length features her U.S Top 40 and Top 5 iTunes Alternative hit “Habits (Stay High),” which was also recently certified RIAA Gold and is now approaching Platinum status in the U.S.

To coincide with her album announcement on 8/19, the Swedish songstress premiered a new video on RollingStone.com for her second official U.S single “Not On Drugs” alongside a string of North American tour dates. Her headlining tour – presented by VH1’s You Oughta Know — is set to commence at the Fillmore in San Francisco on September 22nd, prior to that Tove Lo will be performing at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles on September 21st and All Things Go Fall Classic Festival in Washington, DC on September 13th. Her headlining tour will be making stops along the west coast, Canada, New York City (for her album release week), and winding up east in Boston on October 5th (see below for full list of tour dates). Tove Lo first entered the pop arena earlier this year in March with the release of her critically acclaimed debut EP “Truth Serum” (Island Records) and widely appraised live performances at this 2014’s SXSW in Austin, TX. Hot on the heels of her debut single “Habits (stay high)” — which amassed an impressive 12 million+ views on YouTube – Tove Lo went on to sell-out shows in New York, Brooklyn and Los Angeles and has since garnered more than 63 million worldwide streams on Spotify and over 11 million streams on SoundCloud with her EP closing track “Habits (Stay High) Hippie Sabotage Remix.”

Following her late night television debut on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers in June, Tove Lo and her band returned to late night shows on TBS’ Conan.

“Queen of the Clouds” was written by Tove Lo and is a unique trilogy exploring the rollercoaster ride of emotions during a passionate love affair and its ultimate demise.
