)-- DeepGulf, Inc. announces its revolutionary J-Flex 3600 marine pipelay system. The ultra-deep, J-Lay system is capable of laying very large pipes in the deepest waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The J-Flex name reflects the innovative concepts deployed within the system that dramatically improve lay rates and eliminates the need to articulate the J-Lay tower. In addition, the J-Flex system has a tensioning capacity of up to 3000 tons.
“DeepGulf’s J-Flex system will enable the development of vast regions in the deepest parts of the Gulf of Mexico for oil and gas, as well as ultra-deep fields in other parts of the world,” says Rus Howard, Chairman of DeepGulf, Inc.
DeepGulf, Inc. is in the business of building underwater pipelines and associated facilities in deep and ultra-deep offshore oil and gas production fields, primarily in the Gulf of Mexico. DeepGulf’s proprietary J-Flex 3600 marine pipelay system, with its 3,000 ton tensioning capacity, is capable of laying 36 inch pipelines in the deepest waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This radical new techonology will make untapped utra-deep oil and gas production economically viable.
