Derrick Damions Cast in the Rectory

Los Angeles, CA, September 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Actor Derrick Damions has been cast to play the supporting role of Reverend Smith in the feature film The Rectory, based on award winning writer/ director Jonathan Chance’s screenplay “Something Like a Phenomenon” and will be produced by indie film force Calvin Vanderbeek. The film, set in 1937, follows paranormal investigator Harry Price as he leases the old Borley Rectory, England's most haunted house, and returns to face the spirits that lay dormant for decades.

Derrick Damions is an artist at heart and by the end of university won citations in writing, design, architecture, music and acting. Further education at Yale, Shakespeare Theatre Company and the National Theater Institute, led to performing on stage at The Kennedy Center, TV serials, soap opera, Off-Broadway plays, an international Improvisation troupe, hit movies, TV shows ‘White Collar’ ‘Law and Order CI’ ‘The Good Wife’ and starring in several Indie films including up and coming thriller ‘The Chair.’
