Career Step Releases eBook Versions of Its Textbooks for New and Current Students

Career Step has released ebook versions of all of the proprietary textbooks included with the school’s training programs to enhance students’ learning experiences by making their education more mobile and interactive.

Provo, UT, September 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, has released ebook versions of all of the proprietary textbooks included with the school’s training programs. This is intended to enhance students’ learning experiences by making their education more mobile and interactive.

“Our goal is to provide the very best student experience possible,” said Career Step Vice President of Academics Jerolyn Robertson. “We are very excited about the ebooks as this initiative will make it easier for students to take their books with them when they are away from home, making their educational experience more mobile. Students will also have access to various collaboration tools and the most up-to-date content.”

Career Step has made the transition to ebooks to bring its textbook references more in line with the school’s online format. Previously, students were provided between two and twelve printed textbooks, depending on their program of study. All of this material will now be provided through the ebook platform.

With their textbooks in the ebook format, students will be able to access their materials from up to two computers and two mobile devices at a time. The ebook platform will sync any embedded notes and also allow them to collaborate with peers on the material, directly from their books.

“Today’s students are looking for access to their training no matter where they are,” said John Tintinalli, Career Step Vice President of Product Management. “The new ebooks provide that access. Students will now be able to access their textbooks from their phones when waiting at the doctor’s office, on their tablets while taking the train, or on their laptops when they don’t have a wireless connection.”

The Career Step ebooks will be provided to all new students enrolling after September 1, 2014. Current students can also purchase the ebook format of the textbooks for their program of study. For more information on the ebooks, please visit CareerStep.com/ebooks or call 1-800-246-7837.
