Retro Arcade Museum to Open in Downtown Tarpon Springs

Tarpon Springs, FL, September 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Replay Amusement Museum is proud to announce the Grand Opening of their interactive entertainment facility featuring over one hundred vintage pinball and video arcades. Guests won’t have to worry about saving up their change-- all games are set to “free play” with no quarters required. For the price of admission, guests immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of a true retro arcade environment long since seen, yet never quite forgotten.

Classic icons of video game culture like Donkey Kong and Ms. Pacman are fully represented, however, the museum also offers guests the opportunity to experience many rare and unique examples of arcade amusements such as “Hercules,” the world’s largest production pinball machine.

“Most adults remember the time when they incessantly fed quarters into an arcade, jukebox or pinball machine as a kid,” said Becky Cheaney, Curator of Replay Museum. “The Replay Museum is a nostalgic trip through time that awakens the fondest of our childhood memories.”

Replay Museum was created by Becky and Brian Cheaney, who are passionate collectors of coin-operated amusement equipment. As Brian explains, “The museum expresses our love for pinball and classic arcade gaming and allows us to share it with the public to promote its cultural significance.”

With over 40 pinball machines, the Replay Museum is the largest publicly playable collection in the Southeastern United States. Admission is only $13 for Adults and $7 for Children. Grand Opening Weekend is October 3rd, 4th and 5th from 11am-9pm.
