Napa, CA, September 24, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- As dates of “must attend” events for 2015 begin to be scheduled in diaries, be sure to place the annual “Retail Realm Technology Conference” (Las Vegas, 25 – 27 April 2015) right at the top of the agenda.
The only gathering in the world to focus specifically on the Microsoft suite of products for the Retail Sector, the “Retail Realm Technology Conference" returns to Vegas for the 5th year running, albeit at a new venue: The Four Seasons Hotel. The annual conference is a “one-stop shop” for retail business, providing breaking news, product updates and education around the core products from Microsoft: Dynamics AX for Retail, Microsoft Dynamics RMS Store and Headquarters, and the new addition to the Microsoft retail family, Retail Essentials.
Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail continues to perform well in the Enterprise space and Retail Realm is developing its own brand “RR AX Utilities” (some of which will tailor AX for specific retail verticals) as well as interfaces to other third party products, thereby supplementing and expanding AX for Retail’s current scope.
RMS is, of course, alive and well and remains fully supported until 2021; a fact very much evidenced by the recent launch this month (Sept 2014) of “RR RMS Utilities Version 17” which features a raft of add-ons and functionalities including: an Archive Utility; Customer Price Matrix (which permits the calculation and application of special prices for customer groups with practically an unlimited number of price levels – compared with the 3 Microsoft RMS price level limit out-of-the-box); Weights and Measures (certified by the Australian Government National Measurement Institute)… and much more.
As for Retail Essentials, Microsoft and Retail Realm are currently working together on launch plans for this next gen product in the 4th Quarter of 2014. Retail Realm will be sending out training and training certification information shortly. At the Vegas conference attendees will get details, first hand, on future developments in Retail Essentials from the key members of Microsoft’s Retail Sector development team in attendance. The Retail Realm Technology conference is also, traditionally, a venue where snippets of information about new solutions and developments first come to light! So everyone is well advised to keep their eyes and ears peeled.
Separate tracks and education/information sessions will be held for each of the three aforementioned core product areas.
The exhibition, which runs concurrently with the conference, also provides the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest cutting-edge hardware and software for Retail application. Whether interested in POS terminals or other hardware, loyalty programs, internet retail, mail-order, multi-channel inventory management systems (that enable retailers to maximize the return from their stock if they sell simultaneously for example, via classic brick-and-mortar, on-line, mobile, mail-order), data security and card payment... Retail Realm ensures that conference attendees gain direct access to a good cross section of established names as well as newcomers with must see, exciting innovations. Breakfast and lunch, during the conference, are served in the exhibition hall, and permit relaxed and informal meetings and detailed demos of the products that are of most interest. Some exhibitors also hold break-out sessions for more in-depth review of their solutions.
It would be wrong to think, however, that the “Retail Realm Technology Conference” is all about work and no play. The 3 day event swings into action with the annual Retail Realm charity golf match (Saturday afternoon, 25th April 2015), followed by the Welcome Cocktail Reception in the Mandalay Bay’s “Boiler Room,” the same evening. The latter event gives Resellers, Microsoft Representatives, Retailers and Exhibitors an opportunity to network, share news and views before the busy two days ahead. And, of course, there’s always the buzz and excitement of the Las Vegas Strip with its world-class shows, fine dining and, of course, casinos.
Last, but by no means least, Retail Realm has recently started a new line of business in Healthcare. The conference will, therefore, also feature a dedicated healthcare track.
