AOK Christian Radio Announces the Release of Watch Me Fly by Jill Miller

Jill Miller is a singer/songwriter and speaker who went into full-time music ministry as a way to touch, encourage and inspire people on life's journey. Through her songs and the stories behind them, she connects with her audiences in a real and honest way. Jill's musical sound has evolved into the sophisticated crossroads between Francesca Battistelli's gritty, velvet clad vocals and the urban pop sounds of Amy Grant. Jill fuels her sound with liberal doses of uninhibited emotions that authenticate her lyrics and captivate her audience.

Jill is also an inspirational speaker who talks about how to overcome adversity from a woman who has. Her speaking topics include her own real life experiences, including surviving divorce, infertility and adoption, and her personal faith journey.

When attending Jill's live performance, be prepared to feel is if she is singing for you alone. Her performance persona is like spending the perfect summer evening on the back porch with your best friend, where secret joys and sorrows are shared. Jill recently released her 4th CD project called "Grace Finds Wings." The first single from the album, "Investing in Eternity," was released to national Christian radio on June 10th. Jill released her very first single, “Worry,” in October of 2009, and also released songs from her “Christmas is Here” CD in December of 2009. She was thrilled when her songs were picked up and played by stations across the country and is hopeful that Investing in Eternity will get lots of play as well.

Highlights from Jill’s career include performing at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. She opened for the legendary Loretta Lynn in May of 2008 at the beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, and Jill has also opened for Brian Littrell (of the Backstreet Boys), performed with the Christian group NewSong, and sang the national anthem for President Bush and 11,000 people when he was in Sioux City.

Jill is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and in January of 2008 she became a regional workshop coordinator for NSAI and started a brand new NSAI chapter in Sioux City. Jill was a top 5 finalist for 2008 Best Country Artist of the year on IndieHeaven, a website for independent Christian artists. In April of 2008 Jill was named “Siouxland Woman of the Year” by the Quota Club in honor of her volunteer work in the community.

With her eyes focused on God and his plan for her ministry and music, Jill is excited to embrace the future and the people she encounters.
