Photography Exhibit Debut: “A Hand Held Adventure” by Ken Redding

On Friday, October 3, 5-9pm, John Fielder’s Colorado & the Denver Photo Art Gallery is proud to present their newest exclusive 3-month exhibit titled “A Hand Held Adventure” by Ken Redding, an internationally recognized commercial photographer who has been honing his craft for over 35 years. This beautiful exhibit consists of 12 large scale Gallery Mounted prints that showcase a true adventurous lifestyle. 10% of artists’ profits will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Denver, CO, September 28, 2014 --( About the artist: Raised in southern California, Ken was lured to the mountains of Colorado in the early 1970s to pursue his love of the outdoors. There he developed a passion for photographing the people and landscapes of the American west. Ken is inspired by his interest in shooting scenes of people going about their everyday lives, whether in work or recreation. He especially enjoys getting to know his subjects, hearing the stories of their lives, and connecting with them on a deeply personal level. Ken has made many lifelong friends this way. Completely self-taught, Ken is skilled in all film formats as well digital photography. Ken’s love of photography is infectious, and he is enthusiastic about sharing with others what he has learned throughout the years.

Ken’s stock photography is represented worldwide by Corbis Images and by Room the Agency. Ken and his wife, Camille, live in Grand Junction, Colorado, with their two Australian Shepherds, Wily and Gracie. Ken and Camille have two daughters, Lillian and Ava, who are in college.

All exhibit prints will be for sale. Exhibit runs October 3 - December 27, 2014. Exhibit is open to the public and is free admission. Gallery is open Tues-Sat, 9-5pm, with extended hours for First Fridays until 9pm.
