Through the partnership, BanKO customers may now be able to pay for their purchases from Dragonpay merchants using their BanKO account. As payments will be processed real-time, orders and purchases will be readily available upon payment. Customers will also receive confirmation of their payments through SMS.
BanKO primarily caters to the financially underserved sector. It currently has over 800,000 accountholders nationwide, who are able to conveniently perform transactions such as bills payment anytime and anywhere by using their mobile phones.
