Ethernet Thermometer and Hygrometer with Alert Functionality and Cloud Interface

Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, October 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As first product of a new line of smart sensors, German embedded developer egnite has launched Querx TH, a network based thermo-/hygrometer.

Querx TH measures temperature and humidity and sends out alerts via email, SNMP trap and syslog message if configurable thresholds are exceeded.

Querx TH logs the collected data in its internal memory and exports it to cloud services like ThingSpeak and Xively. The device also supports SNMP and Modbus/TCP and is hence suitable for usage with monitoring software like Nagios, Zabbix or ScadaBR.

Integration into networks is done via a 10/100 MBit Ethernet interface. Configuration is carried out via web interface. Fields of application include temperature monitoring in server rooms, preventive conservation in museums and archives as well as estate monitoring.

Querx TH is now available. It is located the entry level price segment with a recommended retailer price of 155.00 €.

Further products are announced for this year, including a WiFi thermometer and a version which supports Pt100 temperature sensors.
