Hundreds Flock to SF Bay Area Haunted House Event - Fear Overload Scream Park for Opening Weekend

Fear Overload Scream Park - the SF Bay Area's Halloween theme park, saw unprecedented crowds last weekend.

San Leandro, CA, October 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Screams could be heard at the Bayfair mall last Saturday evening. Hundreds of people came to San Leandro on October 4th from all over the Bay Area to attend Fear Overload Scream Park, a massive Halloween event that has been terrorizing the area for 6 years. According to one customer “I come every year! The haunted houses are really scary, and the event just keeps getting bigger and better. Last year I came on Halloween night, and it was packed! I'll likely be back again sometime this season.”

A company spokesman claimed that this weekend far exceeded attendance expectations. “We had projected that about 350 people would attend this evening. By 10pm on the fourth, we had sold nearly twice that many tickets. We've made a big step up, and people are responding well.” Fear Overload has touted a massively increased budget this year, and it seems that the quality and size of the event have gone up even more than expected.

The event features two haunted attractions, each about 7,000 square feet. The first is Your Psychotic Episode, a foray into the depths of psychosis. It is meant to simulate a complete lapse of sanity, plunging customers into a disturbing alternate reality in which they can no longer trust their senses. The other attraction, Zodiac Killer, is based on the eponymous 1970s serial murderer who gripped the entire Bay Area by blackmailing the media. The event also consists of food, drinks, and live entertainment.
